Pro League football competition to be abandoned

The board of the Belgian Pro League that organises top league competition for association football clubs in Belgium is recommending halting the competition immediately and accepting the present position of clubs in the ranking of league 1A as final for this year.  The recommendation seems to seal the fate of the 2019-20 football season.
