More than 10,000 people search for sex toys in Walloon field
An adult version of the “egg roll” in which children search for eggs that have been hidden by the organisers took place in Wépion in Namur Province on Sunday. However, it wasn’t eggs the 10,000 participants searched for in a field in the Walloon municipality best-known for its strawberries.
The aim of the event that was being held for the ninth time was for those taking part to find as many vouchers for sex toys as possible in the allotted time.
This year’s event was the most successful to date with a total of 10,000 people taking part.
One of the organisers Colombe Cuvelier told the press agency Belga that “The ‘hunt’ is becoming more successful every year”. As well as the many Belgian participants, 250 French people took parts, as well as people from the Netherlands and even Portugal and Spain.
The idea behind the event is promote the emancipation of woman.
The money raised from the event that was organised by Soft Love and Elle-émoi will be donated to the not-for-profit groups Endométriose Belgique and Relay for like that fight against endometrioses and cancer.
