Tickets for Royal Greenhouses in Laken still available

The Royal Greenhouses of Laken (City of Brussels) unexpectedly still have tickets for visits available. When the system was overloaded reservations were made for a number of time slots that were never paid. The tickets are now once again available to the public at large.

More than five hundred tickets are still available in April. In May, there are still 17 days with several available time slots. "The tickets were reserved in our system but never paid, so they were released again," explains Lore Vandoorne, communications manager at the Royal Palace of Laken.

Last Thursday, ticket sales for visits to the Royal Greenhouses in Laken began. Prospective visitors were ready in droves at their computers to reserve tickets, but because of the great interest, the website servers were overloaded on the very first day creating the problems.

As every year, the Royal Greenhouses in Laken are open to visitors for about three weeks. The 2024 visiting period runs till May 20. Additional time slots were added this year. These brought the total capacity to 148,000 visitors, some 37,000 more than last year.
