"UFO in Ghent skies"

Last night several people reported an unidentified flying object in the skies above Ghent.  The strange object radiated light and many people thought they were witnessing the fly past of a flying saucer.

Space experts at the Armand Pien Observatory in Ghent were keen to dash these expectations insisting the flying object was most likely a weather balloon that had burst.  Weather balloons are raised to an altitude of 35 km above the ground and have instruments of board to register weather conditions.  It’s unclear where it landed.
