Impressive funeral ceremony to honour Limburg firefighters

The two firefighters who died during an intervention last Sunday, were laid to rest today. The funeral service in Heusden-Zolder (Limburg) was an impressive one. The daughter of one of the victims was among those to hold an emotional speech. She said "dad, you are a true hero. You are our hero. And so you will remain for ever. We will miss you so incredibly much." The service was followed by hundreds of people, with firefighters, police and militarymen contributing to the ceremony to pay tribute to the two victims, both young fathers, both volunteers.
