Third International Emmy Award for Tim Van Aelst

The Fleming Tim Van Aelst has  won the third International Emmy Award of his career for ‘Did You Get The Message?’. Did You Get The Message? or ‘Hoe zal ik het zeggen?’ as it is called here is broadcast by the commercial television channel VTM. The programme that is made by the production company Shelter took the award in the best non-scripted entertainment category at Monday evening’s awards in New York.  

‘Did You Get The Message?’ beat off competition from ‘MasterChef Australia’, ‘Top chef México’ and the Thai production ‘The Mask Singer’ to take non-scripted entertainment award.  

Previously Tim Van Aelst and the Shelter production company have won international Emmy Awards for ‘Benidorm Bastards’ and ‘Wat Als?’ (What if?)  

International production deals for ‘Did You Get The Message?’ have already been signed with production companies in the US and the UK. A German version of the programme was shot during the summer.

The show was first broadcast last year. Its presenter Jens Dendoncker coveys a message to an unsuspecting public in an original way. The second series of the programme started on VTM on Monday evening.
