Spectacular ‘Bright Brussels’ light festival in downtown Brussels
Bright Brussels, the festival of light in the Belgian capital has just started. Fourteen fairylike and very poetic installations have been erected across the historic heart of the city as part of the third edition of this festival.
The installations by Belgian and international artists are on show until 17 February. This year the focus is on the Quays and Sint-Katelijne districts. During the festival there are free guided tours as well as animation. Present the information leaflet available from kiosks across the festival and you will be able to visit the temporary exhibitions at the Kanal Centre Pompidou centre for only 5 euros.
Last year Bright Brussels attracted 120,000 visitors.
