Vandals daub entrance to Vlaams Belang HQ with red paint

The entrance to the building that houses the headquarters of the far-right party Vlaams Belang have been daubed with red paint. The building on the Madou Square in the Brussels municipality of Sint-Joost-ten-Node also contains residential flats, other offices and some commercial premises on its ground floor.

Despite the presence of numerous other occupants in the building, the leader of Vlaams Belang Tom Van Grieken is convinced that the vandalism was aimed at his party.

Mr Van Grieken added that Vlaams Belang will be reporting the vandalism to the police. He shared a number of photos of the vandalism via the social media platform Twitter.
