Bye-bye UK: Brussels takes down the Union Jack

1/2/20 - Images have emerged of the moment when the Union Jack, the flag of the United Kingdom, was removed from the European Council building and was lowered outside the European Parliament in Brussels.  Many people have commented on the care and dignity with which this was done.The United Kingdom is the first member state to leave the EU.
