Woman dies in tragic accident in Bornem

Last night, a 40-year-old woman died in a crash in Bornem (Antwerp province). Her mini-van hit a tree; no other vehicles were involved. There were no traces of any braking, the victim may have become unwell behind the wheel. The N16 was closed for some time for Willebroek-bound traffic.
