New app for Brussels metro, bus and tram!
The Brussels local transport company, the MIVB, has launched a new app for smartphone use. The app combines information from the MIVB’s route planner with waiting times at stations and stops.
"It's a real must have app" says MIVB's An Van Hamme. The app is available free of charge and can be personalised. Surveys focusing on customer satisfaction reveal that real time information is one of the top priorities for people travelling on public transport. It allows them to manage their time use more efficiently, choose the best route and the best mode of transport.
In recent months the MIVB has left no stone unturned in efforts to improve and expand real time information. New options are being added to the app soon. For more information on the app in English search ‘MIVB apps’.
