Yotam Ottolenghi: "Food is a good starting point to bring people closer"

The famous Israeli-British chef Yotam Ottolenghi is in Belgium. He took the time for an interview with the VRT's Joris Vergeyle, in between signing sessions: "I never had a mission, I never wanted to convert anyone", the popular chef 'who made vegetables sexy again' remains modest. Ottolenghi is speaking in the Ghent cultural centre 'De Vooruit' tonight: the 700 tickets were all sold in 8 minutes, a new record.  Ottolenghi is on a promotion tour for his latest cooking book, "Simpel" and has sold milions of books worldwide.
