Late goals steer Sporting Charleroi to victory
In the first of this weekend’s Belgian First Division games Sporting Charleroi enjoyed at 2-0 home win against AA Gent. The result sees Charleroi move up into the top 6, while AA drop back out of the top 6 again.
The fans had to wait until the 86th minutes for the opening goal when Victor Osimhen put Charleroi 1-0. This came after AA Gent had had most possession throughout the game. Charleroi’s second goal came from Massimo Bruno in the 4th of 5 minutes of injury time.
The result leave Sporting Charleroi 6th with 30 points from 19 games. AA Gent are 7 with 28 points.
