Strikingly warm reception for Mr Michel in Marrakech

10/12/18 – The Global Compact on Migration cost Belgian PM Charles Michel his majority in parliament.  In Marrakech the Belgian PM accused former colleagues of using the Compact to tell lies and false truths, but when he told the conference that he was proud of the convictions of the Belgian people he was warmly applauded.
