The only Belgian competing in the final of the Queen Elizabeth Competition for Violin Sylvia Huang put in an impressive performance on Monday evening. She played a piece by the contemporary Finnish composer Kimmo Hakola (video above) as her compulsory piece. Her chosen piece was a violin concerto by Antonin Dvorak (video below).
