Belgium's oldest twins are no more. Only one sister survives.
In recent years Jeanne and Marcella Schollaert had become famous faces on Flemish TV. As the country's eldest twins - aged 95 - they were often fêted, but sadly Jeanne passed away on Thursday night.
The two sisters were loved for their spontaneous, witty comments and matching outfits.
They had been living together in Leuven for some time and were regularly spotted in the city. Unfortunately, Jeanne experienced a nasty fall in her flat and later died of complications.
Her funeral will be a family affair.
