170,000 free tulips up for grabs!

22/4/19 - The first tulip bulbs arrived in these parts in 1562 when they were shipped in from Turkey via the port of Antwerp.  Today the Antwerp town of Berendrecht is a sea of colour thanks to its tulip blooms.  Every two years the town organises a special day on which tulips can be picked free of charge.
