Rain, cloud and some brighter spells during the Easter weekend

The forthcoming Easter weekend will start off wet with no shortage of rain on Friday night. Saturday will be cloudy with some rain in the west. It will be drier in the east with temperatures in the Kempen area of Limburg and Antwerp provinces reaching as high as 19°C. 

On Friday night a front bringing rain will cross the country from the southeast. It will be cloudy and it will rain just about everywhere in Belgium. Temperatures will fall to between 8°C and 9°C in central areas.

Saturday will start of wet in the west. In the afternoon the front that had brought the rain will move eastwards, reaching the German border by the evening. It will remain dull in the west with some periods of rain. It will also be misty. In central areas it will remain mainly dry with just the occasional shower. In the west and in central areas temperatures will reach no higher than between 10°C and 12°C on Saturday. It will be much warmer in the east with temperatures reaching 16°C or 16°C and even 18°C or 19°C in the Kempen.

Sunday morning will be mainly dry with bright spells, but with some low cloud. However, as the day progresses there could be some showers in the south. Temperatures will reach 10°C on the High Fens and 16°C or 17°C in central areas.

On Monday there will be cloud with periods of rain or showers, particularly in the east. Temperatures will reach 8°C in Flanders and 12°C or 13°C on the hills or the Ardennes.
