Brussels Airport gets ready for the winter

The clocks go back next weekend, a clear indication that we are heading towards the darker months of the year.  At Brussels Airport they are getting ready for snow and ice and have been testing snowploughs and de-icing equipment intended to keep runways operating when temperatures plummet. In order to minimise disruption to air traffic the tests are carried out at night.
